RANGE RULES
ALWAYS treat every firearm as if it is loaded and dangerous.
ALWAYS keep the firearm pointed downrange, and never point a firearm at anything you are not planning to destroy or kill.
ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger and on the frame of the firearm until you are ready to fire.
ALWAYS know your target and be mindful of what’s around it and beyond it.
Check to make sure your firearm is unloaded, and the safety is on before bringing it off the firing line.
Eye and ear protection are always required on the shooting bays, even when not shooting.
Alcohol and firearms DO NOT mix: It is prohibited to bring alcohol or drugs to the shooting range.
Do not point your muzzle or flag anybody at the range.
Do not break the 180* rule. (Muzzle cannot break the imaginary 180* line from the established firing line.) You must keep the muzzle COMPLETELY up, down, or downrange when moving uprange with your firearm.
No negligent or accidental discharges. Period!

RANGE COURTESIES
Respect "cease fire" calls. Immediately stop shooting, unload, open actions, and step away from firearms during a cease-fire period.
Dispose of your trash correctly and clean up your shooting area before leaving. Leave the range better than you found it.
Reset the bays after use.
Be patient, especially during peak hours. Respect other shooters' time and space.
If you see someone unfamiliar with range procedures, offer to help and guide them, if appropriate.
If you have concerns about safety or behavior, report it to the range staff or officers calmly and respectfully.
If you notice or cause something to be broken, inform the range staff so that the feature can be fixed or removed for the safety and benefit of other participants.
Minimize ‘picnicking’ in the shooting bays. If you are not actively training in the bays, please make the bay available for others to train.
The rifle range is a shared bay unless it is reserved for larger groups, training classes, competitions, or other scheduled events.
Adhering to these courtesies fosters a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone using the shooting range.
